Mediterraean Coast Day: at the start on 7th edition

Password: "Healthy sea for a safer future," this is the slogan chosen for the seventh edition of the Mediterranean Coast and Macroregional Strategies Week to be held in Izola, Slovenia, Sept. 19-23, 2022.

September 25 will mark Mediterranean Coastal Day, a day widely celebrated in the countries of the region. Slovenia was chosen for being the first country in the Mediterranean region to ratify the Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) Protocol in 2009.
