Applications are now officially open for the UfM Med Youth Lab 2025, the skills development programme focused on project design for Euro-Mediterranean youth aged between 18 and 29.
The initiative is organised by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), with the support of the German Development Cooperation, in partnership with ALF, IEMED, UEMF, and with the institutional backing of the Albanian Ministry of State for Youth and Children and the National Youth Agency of Albania.
The programme includes a combination of online training sessions throughout summer 2025 and a dynamic three-day in-person workshop, culminating in a final project pitch event, to be held in Tirana, Albania, from 29 September to 2 October 2025.
Participants will work closely with experts, mentors, and peers to develop innovative projects tackling key issues in the Mediterranean region. Specifically, the work will focus on three main thematic areas related to youth engagement: Climate adaptation, Transition from education to employment and Peacebuilding.
Three of the projects developed during the 2025 edition will have the opportunity to join an online mentoring programme offered by the UEMF Euromed Innovation Center.
