INFO/RAC has launched a new public selection procedure within the framework of ISPRA, aimed at hiring a Level III Technologist under a fixed-term contract.
The position, lasting 12 months and full-time, is based at the ISPRA headquarters in Rome and is part of the implementation of the INFO/RAC Programme of Work.
Main activities
The selected candidate will be mainly involved in technical activities supporting the development of environmental information systems, including:
• management, development and customization of information platforms (BCRS, NBB/PRTR, MAP InfoSystem)
• support to GIS systems and contribution to the UNEP/MAP knowledge platform (KMaP)
• management of relational databases and infrastructure based on virtualization and containers
The role will contribute to strengthening digital infrastructures and environmental data management systems in the Mediterranean area, in coordination with UNEP/MAP.
