The Climate and Circularity Accelerator for Mediterranean SMEs
MedWaves has launched GoZero: The Climate and Circularity Accelerator for Mediterranean SMEs, a fully funded program designed to empower small and medium-sized enterprises to lead the transition toward circular and low-carbon business models.
The GoZero program supports Mediterranean SMEs in improving their sustainability and accelerating decarbonization by adopting circular economy practices.
In its first edition, the project supports 40 SMEs, including 20 in the textile industry and 20 in the agri-food sector, across 9 Mediterranean countries: Algeria, Egypt, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Spain, and Tunisia.
GoZero offers benefits such as up to 6 training sessions, plus 10 hours of consulting from Inèdit’s sustainability experts; access to EcoPulse and Èdit to assess circularity and calculate carbon footprints; access to high-level content on the circular economy, decarbonization, eco-design, and EU sustainability trends; participation in a 3-day trip to connect, learn from best practices, and network across the Mediterranean; and a tailored sustainability action plan with key indicators to increase impact and decarbonization, reduce costs, and open new markets by aligning business practices with leading sustainability standards.
The GoZero acceleration program is structured as a hybrid journey, combining flexibility with deep learning and action, divided into 4 phases.
Throughout the journey, participants receive step-by-step guidance and access to tools and resources to complete key tasks, including short individual mentoring sessions.
