On 29 September 2025, a webinar dedicated to coastal wetlands in the Mediterranean will take place, organised by the European Topic Centre on Spatial Analysis and Synthesis – University of Malaga (ETC-UMA), in the framework of the RESTORE4Cs and Wetland4Change projects, in collaboration with PAP/RAC, SPA/RAC, MedWet, the University of Valencia, and Tour du Valat.
The webinar will focus on the current state of coastal wetlands and will present recent scientific findings. The event aims to contribute to advancing regional commitments under the Barcelona Convention, particularly the Post-2020 SAPBIO, as well as the Paris Agreement, the Ramsar Convention, the Convention on Biological Diversity, and the European Green Deal.
The webinar targets experts from national and sub-national authorities, research institutions, and organisations involved in the evaluation or implementation of coastal wetland policies at the national level across the Mediterranean region.
