Drawings and comics to protect the oceans: send us your story!

On the occasion of World Oceans Day INFO/RAC is launching a contest aimed to children from 6 to 10 years old living in Mediterranean region. Obviously, children must be supervised by their parents, family members or teachers.Send us drawings and comics about your point of view about protection of the oceans. There is no age limit when the goal is to protect our seas!

What you have to do?

Are you parents or teachers of children aged 6 to 10? If yes, take time to watch the selected cartoons clicking on the links below. It will be a way to let your children and their friends know some of the activities that scientists carry out to protect Oceans and Seas. Then prepare a table with paper sheets and colors and unleash your imagination: the children could draw small stories with the characters of the our cartoons and thus prepare to discover, while having fun, all the value and relevance of seas. After the creative session, take one or more photos of the drawings and comics and send them to picturesoceansday@info-rac.org with credits (please indicate name and surname of the author of each creation and the city where she/he is living)

All drawings and comics will be collected and published with the author's name in a video gallery that will be presented in a next digital campaign on the Unep/MAP system websites.

Enjoy our cartoons about the Mediterranean Sea
